Sura and Laya (Bonded Pair)

Sura and Laya are a pair of 1.5 year old sisters looking for their forever home! Laya is petite and playful, while Sura is an explorer who loves affection. Like peanut butter and jelly, they make the perfect pair. Read on to see if these gals would be perfect in your home! Sura is a beautiful black kitty, and she is the most outgoing and secure of the pair. She’s also very affectionate. When she’s getting brushed or pet, she can’t control her excitement and rolls around like a silly little ball. Sura likes to be where the people are and follows her foster humans around like a puppy. If she wants attention that she isn’t receiving she’ll meow to let you know. If you look closely you may notice that Sura girl is missing an eye. Due to a little injury the vet thought it to be in her best interest to remove her eye. She is much more comfortable now and has no lingering eye issues. She can do everything a normal 2 eyed kitty can do, and is not slowed down in the slightest. She is curious and playful, and enjoys playing soccer with her ball toys. Although if you're looking for a rowdy and energetic soccer match, you’ll want to turn your eyes towards her sister Laya! Speaking of Laya, this beautiful tortoiseshell gal is a bit more reserved, but don’t take that to mean that she’s not friendly, because that couldn’t be further from the truth. She just needs a bit more time to trust and warm up, but once she comes out of shell she’s just as beautiful on the inside as the outside. She loves to run around and play tag with her sister Sura. She’s incredible at independent play and keeps herself entertained with toys for hours. Her new favorite toy is the automatic laser pointer. As soon as the toy is turned on she enters a new dimension and focuses all of her energy on chasing the laser around. She makes her foster family laugh and smile with her silly playing antics. Laya likes pets, but prefers her feet be kept on the ground. If you’re laying down however, she likes to lay right near you. The presence of her trusted family and her feline sister bring Laya lots of comfort. These sweet gals currently share a home with two adults and a teenager, as well as one other cat and a small dog. The home is two stories with lots of windows and they utilize all the space for zoomies and soccer. They also both love their cat tree in the window with a view of the bird feeder. They would give extra bonus points if their forever home had a similar sort of space for them to spy on the birdies outside. They also have many beds around the house and rotate their snoozing locations based on where the sunspots are hitting. They love lounging in the warmth of the sun! Neither of the girls have spent any time with young children. Because Laya appreciates calmness and predictability, she would probably prefer a home without young children. She would also prefer a home without large dogs for the same reason. This dynamic duo are looking for a forever home to call their own. They would thrive best in a calm and peaceful home with humans who are around a lot and are looking to give their gentle love and affection to their kitties.
