My Story

Meet Stubs, a charismatic 4-year-old lighter orange tabby cat with a personality as bright as his fur. This social butterfly is the epitome of charm, delighting in every opportunity to interact with his human friends. With a penchant for affection, Stubs loves nothing more than rubbing against your legs, eager to soak up every ounce of attention and love you're willing to give. His endearing stub tail adds a unique touch to his already charming demeanor, making him all the more unforgettable. Stubs' playful spirit and outgoing nature make him an instant favorite among shelter visitors, and he's sure to bring joy and laughter to any home lucky enough to welcome him. With his infectious personality and boundless affection, Stubs is ready to become the cherished companion of a loving family who appreciates his special brand of feline charm. He has FIV, which means he has a weaker immune system than most cats. FIV cats can live a long, happy life, but should not go to a home with FIV-negative cats. If you are interested in meeting/adopting Stubs, fill out an application at apl-shelter.org (for adopting) or come meet him in person at the Animal Protective League, 1001 Taintor Road in Springfield. The APL is open every day from noon to 5 p.m.
