Spencer

Spencer was adopted a year ago as a tiny kitten and was recently returned to us because a child in the home developed allergies. Spencer was raised in a loving family environment and is very social and affectionate. He loves dogs, however he is very interested in our pet birds. In his previous home, he was allowed to go outside daily and does have the ability to hunt and catch birds. He will need to go to a home that will closely monitor him to make sure he does not sneak outside. When he was first returned to us, he had several potty accidents the first 24 hours and was then confined to a pen where he used the litterbox perfectly. He now has run of the house and I see him using the litterboxes frequently so I do believe his issues are resolved. I think he was confused about the location of my litterboxes and also intimidated by the 4 other cats in the house.

Spencer has become best friends with my other foster cat, Marley. It would be wonderful if they could be adopted together. It's a unique thing for non-sibling, adult cats to form such a close friendship as these two have. Marley is also declawed and listed on Pefinder.

Spencer is neutered, front declawed, vaccinated, dewormed and flea treated, and tested negative for FIV/FEL! His required adoption donation is $100.00
