04/21/2020 - Sparkles is still with us. Having access to our screened in patio has helped lift her spirits. She loves lounging out there in the fresh air with the sound of birds. She's learned to get along with all the other cats too! Please consider giving Sparkles a chance!
12/14/2018 - Meet Sparkles! She was found in the street by a cemetery as a kitten and was in a nice home until she was about 9 years old when her owner passed away. They called her Spooky Delukey. She and her cat roommate came to our shelter and after a few weeks, her roomie also passed away. It's been a very stressful and sad turn of events for Sparkles.
Sparkles is said to get along well with dogs and kids back when she had a home of her own. She's not very happy here at the shelter but she's a very pretty kitty and with a little time to adjust, we know she can make a great house pet for someone out there.
