Sophia

Sophia had a rough go of things as a street cat for at least part of her life. She befriended a nice woman who started to feed her and provided her shelter from the weather while she worked on a plan to get this girl indoors. She reached out to us asking for help and our heart strings were tugged. Sophia is a sweet girl as long as you are willing to listen to her rules. She likes what she likes and since she hasn't always been a spoiled house cat we totally understand her high expectations now that she is. Sophia can be understandably shy at first but will come around in her own time. Her new family would need to be understanding and let her settle in and allow her to have space that she will feel secure in. She does not seem to be the biggest fan of other cats but may be ok with a roommate who is willing to leave her be. We do not know what she would think about dogs but may be ok if they are respectful. Small children will be overwhelming and scary for her so older children only. Sophia is around 3 years old as of 7/31/24. The adoption fee for a single cat is $125 and includes distemper vaccine, rabies, dewormer, flea treatment, spay/neuter, FeLV/FIV Combo test and microchip.
