Socks

Socks is a very special guy with too many toes. He is a polydactyl cat with extra toes on all his feet, like his brother Yoshi. This is quite special because not many cats are polydactyl on all four paws. He can be very shy at first, but is such a lovable guy. Socks has also spent most of his life outside, but took no time at all adjusting to life and comfort indoors. While the little white spot on his face makes him look like he has a snaggle tooth, he has had some dental issues when we initially took him in. He had to have most of his teeth taken out and will need to be fed wet food for the rest of his life, but is otherwise perfectly healthy. This is the reason why his tongue hangs out at times, but we think this only makes him more special and the other good news is that he is not a picky eater. When he comes out of his shell, he loves getting brushed, lots of pets, and cuddles. We don't know whether he gets along with dogs and young children, but he gets along well with other cats and is particularly bonded with Meatball and his polydactyl brother Yoshi.
