My Story

Socks is an adorable, gentle kitty who loves being fussed over. He's a pretty silvery gray tabby with white "socks" and trim who is a little shy, but sweet. He's not going to be a large cat like his full brother, Andy Man, as he was only about 5 lbs in December, 2008, and was born in May of 2008. Socks is excellent with other kitties and is good with dogs. He loves to play with other animals and with toys. He, Andy Man, and their friends, Mooney, Squeekers, and Sweetpea, and a few other kitties were the only survivors of a coyote infestation. On the farm they were living at approximately 20+ of their friends and mothers were eaten by the coyotes. The people who had been taking care of the kitties were moving, and they could only take a few with them. Therefore, we ended up with the 5 in our rescue on 9-6-08--we just couldn't leave them for the coyotes. Sock's adoption fee is $100. He was front declawed on 4-1-09. He tested negative for feline leukemia on 9-6-08, was neutered on 12-10-08, has been dewormed, and has received his first 2 distemper combo shots, a rabies shot, and a Frontline treatment. For more information on this sweet boy, please email [email protected] or call Jann at 517-410-0074. A phone call will usually get faster response, especially on weekends and evenings. Socks was adopted on 4-19-09. Thanks, Tammy & Family! .
