Soccer

Meet Soccer. . . . our 17-lb. Maine Coon mix polydactyl (extra toes on front paws). Soccer is tiger-striped and white. He is 7 years old and has been cared for over the last year by a vet's staff member who has her hands too full with her own six cats and dogs. When she heard of AZMCCR, she asked if we would find Soccer a home. Soccer?s history is that he ended up being turned over to the vet when his owner could not afford his medical care. Soccer had to have a uroscopy to solve blockage problems. He is now well but must be on a good diet and drink only distilled water. This cat is not so mischievous as he is clever. We've been told he will open latched doors, open garbage can lids, and likes to play fetch with thrown balls. Soccer does not like other cats, but he is okay with dogs (he just hangs onto them if they bother him)! Soccer is neutered, has his claws intact, is up to date on all vaccinations, has had a recent full blood panel done, his teeth cleaned in Dec., AND, in anticipation of going to a furrever home, he's been fluffed and buffed - - ready to go!
