My Story

Meet Snickers! This handsome boy is a gorgeous medium haired cat who is not only beautiful on the outside also on the inside. Snickers has a heart of gold. He is a true loyal companion who will greet you when you come home, cuddle with you when you are home and will love all the affection he will get from you. He is also the best host you could ask for! He loves all people. In a dog-like manner he goes out to meet visitors and "greets" them. He isn't shy. He has so many dog-like qualities such as bumping his nose on you for love and loving kisses. Snickers is truly a special boy. Snickers gets along with everyone and all pets too! Snickers is gentle and gets along great with other cats, dogs and kids! Snickers deserves a great family that will spoil him and give him all the love he desires. Adoption fee is $375 and includes the transportation, deworming, vaccinations, FEL/FIV testing, neuter / spay surgery, and microchip. To apply to adopt Snickers, please email us at [email protected] and let the cuddles begin! Snickers is FIV+ which isn’t a huge deal since FIV can only be transmitted through very deep bite flesh wound to another cat and Snickers wouldn't hurt any other cat. FIV is only a feline autoimmune disease that is dormant usually during their whole lives. FIV does not require medication and Snickers is a normal, healthy cat. FIV cats live normal healthy lives and the only way FIV effects cats is as a secondary symptom. For example, if he were to get an upper respiratory infection it may take Snickers a day or two more to get over it versus a non-FIV cat. How did Snickers get FIV? Because he was dumped outside and he was too sweet and trusting. The feral cats probably attacked him and gave him FIV. It’s sad when innocent, sweet boys like Snickers get dumped with feral cats. Below are links that are helpful to understanding FIV if you are not familiar with it but overall Snickers is a healthy and amazing boy. Anyone would truly be lucky to have him. His sweet nature is so heartwarming and he can’t wait to show his family his amazing personality. Snickers can't wait for his bright future ahead!
