Smoozie/Sweetie came to our rescue from Lincoln Park, Michigan, along with her 4 babies--Dave, Walt, Smoochie, and S'more. Smoozie/Sweetie was born to a feral cat that friends of our were feeding. They were able to handle S/S and her brother enough that they are fairly tame, which made it easier to handle S/S's babies once they were born. S/S was born in October of 2008, so she's another baby who had babies of her own.
She tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV; was spayed on 9-22-09, and given her distemper combo and 1-year-rabies shots on 9-22-09.
Smoozie/Sweetie is going to return to LIncoln Park as soon as she is spayed and vaccinated, where she will be a house cat. The lady taking her also fed the kitty colony and became attached to Sweetie (her name for mom kitty--our friends called her Smoozie).
Smoozie/Sweetie was adopted by her old friend on 9-24-09, and returned home.
