Smokey

What a relief! My person had to go to a nursing home, and her neighbor brought me and my friend, Casey, to Animal Control. A TLC volunteer had come there the day we arrived to rescue a very young mom and her two day old kittens. She asked if there was anyone else on "Death Row" and they told her that we were!!! The reason? We were huddled in the back of the cage. Of COURSE we were! We were so frightened and in mourning. The lady took one look at us and said, "I'll take them." We were going to live! Now, Casey and I are safe and happy at the TLC Sanctuary. I am having a wonderful time - making new friends, getting along with all of them. It would be nice, though, to have my very own real home, snuggled up in bed with you, hanging out on the lanai, or watching t.v. I have no bad habits, and very healthy and affectionate. It's okay if Casey can't come with me, but if she could, that would be nice. She is a small, pretty and sweet girl who is very timid but affectionate. It would be a wonderful miracle if we ended up in your home together!
