Skye Female, DSH, solid gray with white dot on chest, 2-3 years old, 9 lbs Would prefer to be an only cat, older children only, not dog tested. She is timid and skittish but will rub against your legs and lean in for cheek rubs! Skye loves to be pet and will come when called only with proper motivation, like treats! She is food-motivated and loves catnip! She does not like to be held, but oddly, does not run when her foster mom tries to pick her up! Skye will need a cat savvy family with plenty of patience to work with a cat who has probably been on her own all her life. She has only been in rescue a short time so is still getting acclimated to home life. Her foster mom is convinced that, with time, she will become a wonderful, loving and loyal companion! If the cat is under the age of 1 year old or has heath issues, a vet reference is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name. Adoption fee of $110. covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, FIV/FELV test and any other medical that may be required while in rescue.
