Simon was found late one night by one of our foster families. He was crying in desperate need of help- his collar somehow managed to get wrapped around under his armpit and there was a groove of hair that was worn off down to his bare skin! He was thin, hungry, riddled with fleas and wanting a safe place to come in from out of the cold. After some detective work, we learned that Simon belonged to a woman who is the late stages of Alzheimer's and is unable to care for him anymore.
Simon, approximately 4 years old, is now flea-free, de-wormed, vaccinated, neutered, FeLV negative, FIV negative, and looking for a forever home!
When asked what he was looking for, Simon replied, " I am looking for a calm household with no small children and I would love for you to love me! I am very friendly and affectionate. I love to purr while you pet me. I am quite talkative and very interested in my surroundings. I love to sleep next to people on the bed and my litter box manners are impeccable. I am healthy and have a good appetite and not fussy at all!"
