Shimmer

I have been told that my new name is Shimmer. By at least one definition this means “a sparkling, brilliant light”. I guess that means that my name suits me perfectly! I am a gorgeous female Siamese cat that is about 3 years old. I guess that there are always unanswered questions about how a cat or dog winds up as a stray. One might say it is even more mysterious when a purebred cat such as me winds up in the same predicament. Unfortunately it seems that having good bloodlines is no guarantee of having a permanent home. So now I am in the same boat as a whole bunch of other cats – all of us cooped up in cages waiting for our new lives to start. I sure hope that someone will see me and realize that I will make a purrfect companion!
