My Story

Sherlock Holmes is a sweet 14 yr old that was rescued off of "death row" at the local shelter. He has an abscess on his foot and needs surgery to remove it. Please consider donating for his surgery. As with all cases, there are unexpected costs. His total surgery/urinary treatment (he has been peeing blood) will be about $650. All donations are tax-deductable and we can send you a reciept for your donation. Just email us with your address and hte amount donated. You can also make donations straight to his treating vet: Mesa West Pet Hospital. The phone number is (949) 642-9142. Sherlock as well as all of us at Cat Connection thank you for your continued support of cats and kittens. Please pass this along to anyone that you can. Thank you!!! Here is a link for his chip-in. He is at the vet today getting the surgery. Please donate for his care. He is in a lot of pain and discomfort. http://catconnectionrescuenetwork.chipin.com/mypages/view/id/a2e864322af05f27 Sherlock Holmes was rescued from the local shelter. He has come from a bad situation where he was confiscated. He is 14 years young and is nuetered and declawed (front only). He is healthy for a 14 year old cat and just needs to put on some weight as he lost weight while he had a kitty cold. He kicked it and is now gaining the weight back. He LOVES to cuddle. In fact, he layed in rescuers lap the whole ride home from the shelter. He has a great personality. He may be an older kitty, but he deserves a home to lay his head for the remainder of his years (which could be 6 + yrs, your average house cat can live to be 20+ yrs old). He is a great cat that a true cat lover would love to have around for his golden years. His adoption fee is $80 in an effort to find this sweet boy a home.
