Sherbet

Sherbet is an adorably small tuxedo and has a white line that looks like a smile on her face. She is small, active, and very playful. She plays kindly with other cats and enjoys chasing fur mice on the floor. She loves interactive play and wants her share of petting and brushing every day. She likes being around people, and gets along great with all cats. She's the official welcome wagon for newly rescued cats awaiting foster homes.

Sherbet was part of a feral colony until she wandered into a Safeway, so she doesn't like being picked up, held, or carried for more than a few seconds and will wiggle to get down. She is skittish when you reach for her, then purrs when you pet her. She will hold her rear end up for you to pet. She likes to climb and perch in vertical spots.

She has the potential to be a great family cat. Sherbet should go to a home with another cat(s) to show her how to enjoy domestic living. She prefers small areas-- a studio apartment with window would be perfect for her. If you want a friendly and playful cat but don't need a lap cat, she is the top of the list. She really hates dogs and will attack if they get close. She is litterbox and scratching post trained.

Sherbet is negative for FIV/FeLV, up to date on vaccinations and spayed.

The regular adoption fee for this cat is $100, which covers the cost of routine vet care, as well as spay/neuter surgery.
