Shahama

Shahama came to us on 3-19-08 and is a senior kitty. We believe he is at least ten years old. Shahama is deaf and partially blind. We know he can at least see shadows and light/dark. He was found on Hwy 12 between Whitewater and Fort Atkinson. Since he was nowhere near a home and can't see, we have to assume someone dumped him there. He is also front declawed. He was trying to hide under cars that stopped to try to help him. He was very underweight and dehydrated. He is now in foster care to gain some weight, but is doing very well! We will make arrangements for you to meet him with an approved application. Update 080108: Shahama would make a great Senior for a Senior. He would prefer to not have too many other cats around him. He loves to have his back rubbed and snuggle under his chin. He really is a good boy who just wants to be the center of somebody special's world! The shelter is open to the public noon-4:00 on Saturdays. We will make appointments for other times with an approved application. Regular adoption fees are $90 for kittens, two for $150 and adults are $75 or two for $120. We do run specials from time to time. Adoptions include spay or neuter, initial vaccinations, and the cats and kittens have been wormed. See you soon!
