My Story

With a blur of tabby and white, there goes Shaggy, Mouse Chaser Extraordinaire! At ten years old, most people would no longer consider Shaggy a "youngster." Shaggy, however, begs to differ. While his body may be a bit older, he's still got the playful spirit and energy of a kitten! Peek through the windows in Suite B and you're likely to see the Shagster zooming across the room in hot pursuit of a mouse toy or crinkle ball! Shaggy's favorite activity is to explore and run around after toys. He would treasure the opportunity to have a home where he can get plenty of playtime. While he can be a bit nervous about being touched at first, he's a sweet boy who just needs a bit of reassurance. In terms of other cats, Shaggy seems to be fairly indifferent. He's got too many cat trees to climb and wand toys to chase to care all too much about other felines. Shaggy would do well as a solo cat or in a home with other laidback cats. Shaggy is also in good health for his age. He has some minor skin allergies and a permanently snuffly nose, but his medical needs are easily managed in a home. If you're looking for a senior cat who's still got plenty of youth, Shaggy may be the one for you! Consider filling out an online adoption application today!
