Meet Scovilla, a stunning tortoiseshell cat with an estimated date of birth around June 15, 2023. She found her way to our adoption center on December 19, 2023, after her previous owner's home was foreclosed on, and she was one of 20 cats rescued from the situation. Despite her challenging past, Scovilla has shown remarkable resilience and a captivating personality. Scovilla's unique appearance is sure to catch your eye. She boasts a beautiful blend of black, orange, and gold hues in her coat, giving her a striking, marbled look. Her large, expressive eyes radiate intelligence and curiosity, always seeming to be on the lookout for the next interesting thing. This lovely young cat is not only a beauty but also incredibly smart and inquisitive. She loves exploring her surroundings and figuring out new puzzles. Whether it's a new toy or an intriguing nook to investigate, Scovilla's curiosity knows no bounds. Scovilla's name has a special story behind it. When she first arrived at the center, she was a bit hissy and standoffish. One of our volunteers noticed that her coat's vibrant colors reminded them of a hot pepper, and they joked that she had a bit of spice to her personality. Inspired by the name of a famous chili pepper scale, she became Scovilla. Over time, we've discovered that while she can be spicy at first, she has a sweet and loving side that reveals itself with patience and play. In excellent health, Scovilla has been spayed, vaccinated, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She is ready to find a forever home where she can continue to explore, play, and receive all the love she deserves. Though initially cautious, if you go slow, she'll let you give her head scratches, and she adores playing with toys, even chasing her own tail. Scovilla also loves cozy blankets and will hide in them when she's feeling shy or timid.
