Scorch

Scorch is a goofy, playful kitty, with the fluffiest coat and silliest stare (guaranteed to brighten your days). Scorch is completely obsessed with play--he'll chase a ball, attack a mouse toy, or run through a tunnel, but his most favorite is to play wand. Scorch loves wands for more than one reason: they are fun to play with, but he also likes to be pet with them. He'll run his head under it and please use it to stroke his back, thanksverymuch. When you pet him with the wand, you will be rewarded with happy purrs. Aside from playtime, Scorch likes to hang out in the same room with you. Having a phone conversation? Scorch will come running so he can participate with lil meows. A man of singular tastes, Scorch loves nothing more than to rub his face deep into your slippers. We're not sure about Scorch's history before he was rescued, but it's clear he had a rough time. He is comfortable with people and loves to play and keep you company, but he's not a fan of pets and prefers not to be touched. He'd do best with a patient adopter who will let him adjust at his pace (while being available to play!).
