Schmidt

Meet Schmidt! He is a bicolor tabby that is sweet and adventurous. He came from a colony in a rough spot along with his four siblings. We are still working on socializing him, but he’s already came such a long way! He loves to play with his littermates, carry small cat toys around, and find soft blankets to cuddle up on. He allows us to walk up to him and pet him when he’s laying down, pick him up, and set him on our lap. Sometimes he will get scared and hiss, but does no harm. He’s what I like to call “fake spicy” where he pretends to be a spicy kitten but deep down really loves peoples affection. He’s still learning that he doesn’t need to run away when we walk up to him while he’s up and walking around. It is important that Schmidt goes into a home that understands as loving as he is, that he can be shy at times. It’s also important that his adopter’s continue to build trust and socialize him. The best ways to win him over is with food, treats, toys, and petting him. Schmidt gets along with other cats, it is unknown at this time how he would do with dogs or kids. He likely would be best in a quite - somewhat quiet home. Schmidt will be neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. Schmidt was born in April.
