My Story

Scarlette is a domestic short haired tortoiseshell kitty. She is currently staying in a cage in the "cat trailer" as we are out of foster home room for kitties. Anytime anyone is in the trailer she is batting her paw out the front of the cage just hoping you will let her out to play with her. She loves nothing more than when you pet her. Poor Scarlette was found on a farm trying to get to her five babies after a hay bale fell on them and killed them all. No one would ever guess that Scarlette was found on a farm. You would think she was someone's house cat as friendly as she is. While she had a litter of kittens she does not seem to be very old as she is still very playful. Scarlette has been spayed, and is current on her vaccinations. She is now simply waiting for someplace she can call her forever home. Scarlette has not been around other cats, dogs, or children so we are unsure of how she will react to any of them but she has a very sweet disposition. Perhaps poor Scarlette is another unfortunate kitty that fell victim to cruel humans who thought she was so cute as a kitten then dropped her off at a farm when she became pregnant. Because we don't know much about her background, we don't know if she would like to be an indoor or indoor/outdoor kitty. However, we would like to see Scarlette live out her life in the comfort of a nice climate controlled home. She may like to go outside every now & then but only if you supervise her. If you adopt Scarlette, you must agree to keep her vaccinated annually and have a financial cushion to take care of her should health issues arise and she needs veterinary care. Please take into consideration before adopting any pet that with owning a pet comes great financial responsibility that you must be prepared for at all times. If you are interested in seeing Scarlette or for more information call the Bingham County Humane Society message phone at 208-680-3881 and ask for Scarlette in the trailer. Be sure to leave a message and we will get back with you as soon as possible. You can also e-mail us with your contact information at [email protected].
