Samson

One day a truck pulled up to the front of our Sanctuary and, before we knew it , three cats were tossed out on to our lawn. One took off running, never to be seen again. The remaining two just sat there, looking around - wondering what the heck happened. While the girl, a dilute tortie we named Delilah, was a bit difficult to catch, Samson allowed us to pick him up and take him inside to safety. We know nothing of their history. What we DO know is that these young cats couldn't have landed in a better place. Samson is absolutely gorgeous. While he is a bit shy, he's making progress in the short time he's been with us. He does allow petting if approached slowly and calmly. Samson gets along very well with the other cats. One would expect that he and the girl (Delilah) would hang out together, but that's not the case. We believe that Samson will develop into a very loving lap cat, once he realizes he's safe and cared for. He will need a patient and experienced cat lover to help him gain the confidence he needs.
