Look no further! My name is Sammy and I’m the beautiful orange tabby in the photos (my sister, Lila, is the brown tabby with white and gold markings all over).
My foster mom says that I'm a great little guy and I love other cats! So if you have one in your home already and are looking to get him or her a companion, I would love to be your guy! I live with three other cats in my foster home and get along with all of them, even the 14 year old senior cat--we cuddle all of the time! Even though I'm still a kitten, I'm not super hyper. I like to sit on a high perch and would rather observe what's going on around me than race around the house. Don't get me wrong--I love to play, and my foster says I can be a little rascal! I wrestle with my sister a lot and I will play with whatever little things I find around the house--a bit of paper, the ring from a milk jug.
My life started out pretty tough. My three siblings and I were abandoned in a trailer park, and managed to survive just long enough to be rescued! In fact, when the Homeward Trails van pulled up to rescue us, we all just jumped right in! Since then, I have been in a foster home and am loving the life of an indoor cat. I always use the litterbox, love my scratching posts (I don't scratch furniture!) and I even let my foster mom clip my nails.
My foster mom says that I am not a lap cat yet, but she thinks I might become one. I do love to cuddle! When I first came to my foster home I was really shy, but I have definitely opened up. Now my foster mom says I am really spunky and curious--just like a kitten should be! I would definitely like someone who can give me attention, and another cat in the house to show me the ropes would be great as well!
