I have a shy personality at first, but with time I will warm up to you and be friends. I enjoy being petted, playing with a few toys, and would love to hang out with you in a quiet home. I used to live a tough life outside where I continually was beat up by other cats. It was scary! Once I was rescued, the nice people took good care of me. I had a few surgeries and now my wounds are healed up. I am FIV+, but studies show that I can lead a long and full life even among other cats. I am so very thankful to be safe and feeling better. If you are looking for a gentle and quiet companion, I would love to be your guy. Sammy is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped, which will be transferred to the adopter.
