Samara

Samara is the Redbull shooter of kittens: this tiny girl brings the party. She has endless play energy, an adorable bunny hop kind of locomotion, a purr 10x her size, and the most curious and cheerful disposition. She’ll happily leap before looking, wrestle bigger kittens for their toys, and pounce any rogue toe that wiggles in view. When she pauses for breath, she wants to curl up on your chest for an intensive purr session and snuggle, and when she’s ALL worn out, she likes to lay back and be rocked like a baby. But get ready—after a tiny recharge, she’ll be bounding up for the next round. The only thing small about her personality is her meow, which is a comically bitty peep. It’s hard to capture Samara’s big personality and beauty in a snapshot. She’s a ghost tabby: her glossy black coat is actually hiding subtle stripes that glint in the right light, and she has a sprinkle of white fur on her chest. She has tiny features, paws, and toe beans, and oversized ears that are always listening for adventure. Her magic is in her motion and bold, bright attitude, which the photograph just doesn’t quite capture. Samara is a social and very energetic sweetheart who is still learning her manners. She loves to pounce and wrestle anything that moves, and foster parents (and brothers!) are working to redirect her away from playing with human hands and feet; she’s learning quickly, and even when turned up to eleven, she has a soft mouth and nothing but pure play energy, not aggression. She’s into adults, kids, and other cats, and she loves her foster-kitten brothers. She’s perfectly litter compliant and getting accustomed to toenail clipping. She loves to be held, but this kitten needs a lot of play before she can chill. Bitty Samara is going to be a big addition to her forever home, and she’s still growing and finding her stride. She would thrive with a kitten playmate. If a fuzzy ping pong ball with a roar of a purr, a nose for adventure, and ten pounds of energy in a three-pound frame sounds like your jam, Samara just may be the right kitten for you. Estimated date of birth is May 2024. --- All of our kittens are currently in Foster Homes. They are not at our facility. Adoption counselors can arrange for you to meet the kittens once your application is approved. Kittens will be pre-adopted pending spay/neuter and may not be available for a few weeks. Deposits will only be accepted once an application has been approved and meetings have taken place. Deposits made PRIOR to approval are not refundable and will NOT hold a kitty for you. Kittens through 6 months $125 or 2 for $200; Kitties over 6 months $100 or 2 for $150. --- Our Adoptable Kittens ARE NOT FERAL. We take them from the streets at a young age, and some are feral at the time of rescue. However, we spend many hours taming, socializing, and acclimating them to indoor life as a pet cat. They are currently friendly, healthy, and playful kittens who are just waiting for their special someone to take them home.
