We need fosters so that we can save cats before they are euthanized at the shelters, so that they have more time to find a permanent family. Sam was found wandering around outside and ended up at the PG Shelter. His owner was then located and decided he didn't want Sam anymore so Sam found himself stuck without an owner and abandoned at the shelter. Owner returns typically have only a few days before they are put to sleep so things were looking pretty grim for Sam, but his luck changed when another volunteer from our rescue group went to pick up two dogs and ran into Sam. She immediately phoned our cat team singing the praises of this giant tabby boy. We are so happy we saved Sam's life. He is sweet, gentle and very, very handsome. He loves other cats and is currently in foster care with a 6 month old named Maggie. Sam would be a fabulous addition to a household with cats. Adopt him today!
