My Story
Salem is a handsome senior black fellow with medium length hair, long legs and crossed eyes. He came to foster care after his previous owner moved out to hospice care and he and his companion Mitts were alone in the house for 2 months. A neighbor came to feed them and clean the litter box. SCB got involved when the house needed to be emptied for demolition. Salem took a little time to trust humans again and can be a little shy. He is curious, loves his food (can be demanding), and enjoys being pet. He seems to get along with his foster's cats and dogs. He has lived with Mittens for a long time, but doesn't interact with him much. Salem has had a senior check up with the vet and is in good health. Salem is a gentle soul who would love to have a quiet home and be your kind companion.
