Rusty

It's time for you to adopt our trusty boy, Rusty! Rusty came to our shelter after a samaritan decided to give him a chance. After being a very shy boy for awhile, he has finally realized how great pets can be. Rusty absolutely loves other cats and would do best in a home with them! Rusty would need a patient owner as he still is a bit shy but once he knows you, he LOVES to be pet and is a total mush about it! Rusty loves cuddling with other cats and absolutely loves treat time. This sweet boy is still young and deserves to spend the rest of his life in a home! Rusty is FIV+ which does NOT require daily medications nor impact his quality of life. Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) is ONLY passed through deep bite wounds between cats and cannot be passed to other animal species or humans. FIV kitties can live with, share food bowls, litter boxes, groom and wrestle with non FIV housemates with no risk of transmission. Rusty is an adult male who is neutered, microchipped, UTD on vaccination and test FIV positive and FELV negative. Due to being FIV+ he qualifies for our special needs adoption rate.
