Rudy

14-year old Rudy is one of 14 cats that suddenly lost their owner in July, leaving a huge void in his life. Rudy, along with his brother Bouncer and sister Inky, were rescued as kittens by a quirky but special man who rescued dozens of cats in his lifetime and took them into his home. The man was well known throughout Jefferson county and beyond as "Coach." He never married and lived "alone" in the house he grew up in with over a dozen cats that he fondly referred to as his "children". Rudy seems a bit shy now that his dad has left him, but once he realizes you are there to love him, he quickly settles down onto your lap for some love. Sadly, Rudy hasn't been the same since Coach left him, but he is ready to live out the rest of his years with someone who will love him like Coach did. Rudy may be a senior kitty, but he still has a lot of love left to give. Rudy appears to have some vision loss, but gets around fine and recent blood work shows that he is in relatively good health otherwise for his age. We need to find a special home for him - we promised Coach we would take good care of each of his children. Come by and meet Rudy and maybe he can find a place to call home again with you. Adopt two of Coach's cats together and pay only one adoption fee! All cats adopted through To The ResQ will be spayed/neutered, updated on rabies and distemper vaccinations, combo-tested and microchipped prior to adoption.
