Rosie is a little petite princess! She'll probably be a smaller cat even when she grows up, but don't let the size fool you because she's got so much spunk!
Despite growing up from the streets, she is still a very curious and adventurous kitty. She can be shy around people at first, but all you have to do is play with her, and you'll win her heart over! Her favorite toys are wand toys with feathers. When she is in a playful mood, she probably won't want to be pet, but once she winds down and relaxes, she purrs softly when you pet her. She doesn't like being picked up too much yet, but I'm sure that's something you could work on with her to get her used to!
She is a snow shoe Siamese, but her pattern is very unique! She has a cute spot on her nose, white patches on her back, and little stripes on her back legs! I've never seen another show shoe like her! And her eyes are a very soft baby blue.
She would do best in a house hold with another playful cat, as she adores every cat she meets! She will rub up on other cats, purr, and want to play with them.
Princess Rosie would do best in a home with a patient owner who will shower Rosie in love and care at Rosie's pace!

Del Gato Rescue is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue based in Los Angeles, CA. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue.
We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized.
We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis.
When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family.
If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.
If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments.
