July 2024 - Rocky and his mom, Katniss are now available for adoption. Please note that Rocky and Katniss MUST be adopted together - they are bonded and we can not separate them. Two is better than one, twice the fun and 1/2 the work.

Rocky and his mom Katniss were rescued from Hamilton Animal Services in April - when he was about a couple of weeks old. - Katniss's other kittens had been killed by raccons but Rocky survived. They went to a foster home where they have thrived and are now ready to find their forever home. Rocky is your typical playful, active, loving kitten who is a real momma's boy. They went through so much together that he MUST be adopted with his mom. They are always together. Rocky has been flea treated, dewormed twice, received his 1st FVCRP vaccine and microchip. His booster FVCRP vaccine plus rabies will be the responsiblity of his new owner and must be completed prior to his neuter by AVA around 4 - 5 months which is included in his $275 adoption fee. They may be a little unsure of a new environment as they are so used to their foster mom's home. It is recommended that they start out in a safe room with food, litter and toys til they adjust to their new surroundings. AVA has an indoor and no declaw policy. They would not be suited in a home with young children under 8. They are in a foster home in the Hamilton area.
