Rochester

Hi, I'm Rochester. Don't be worried about any scabs you see on my head in this picture....it's just that I was left to fend for myself on the streets of Memphis and some mean cat beat me up! I am healing up now, and looking for a nice, cozy home where I don't have to worry about other street cats anymore! Street life hasn't affected my personality toward humans! I am a sweet, shy, loving little boy (approx. 2 years old) and I love to be petted on my head and chin. I also like to be brushed. I wait patiently at the front of my cage for you to come over and give me some attention. I will stand up out of the door of my cage and put my front paws and chest over your shoulder so I can be close to you. I like to jump right on your lap. I am quite playful too! I overheard someone say I am an alpha cat (whatever that means) and I need to be your only cat. Please give me a chance to be your best friend forever. I'm a great cat, and quite handsome too!
