Rizzo and sister Olivia were surrendered to the shelter when their person could no longer keep them. We have a number of volunteers who come in regularly to play with our cats and socialize them, and they report that Rizzo just loves the fishing pole toys, especially the ones that flutter like a real bird! She's pretty relentless with it. She also loves to explore. She's a very sweet cat, but she was getting picked on a lot in the Kool Katz room, one of our adult cat rooms at the shelter. Any time we got a cat in who was a bit of a bully, they just selected her as a target. Even though it's stressful to switch cats to another room, when we had an opening in our Zen Meow room (for quiet cats) we decided to switch her. This was a GREAT move. She quickly adjusted and now she just loves it. She comes down to greet us every time we go in the room, and she is just her normal outgoing, friendly self. We're so happy we moved her! She's ready to be adopted, so stop by and meet this sweet cat.
