My Story

This is Rigby. Rigby is a great kitty. He loves his foster home peeps and sister, Rue. His foster mama took him and Rue in when they were babies. Rigby’s foster mama and family are amazing. Sister Rue is absolutely elegant. So what is the deal with Rigby when he comes to adoption clinic? The deal is, like many highly sensitive kitties (most kitties are), it’s stressful. The different sounds can be startling, the quarters are not like home. Even for a day, it’s hard on sweet sensitive souls. Dorothy had it right, ‘there’s no place like home.’ Some kitties hide, warm lumps under bed or blanket. Some, like Rigby, get downright frustrated. He wants someone to listen, to understand! So, how will you see the real Rigby? This picture, for one. Here he is, happy and content, sprawled on one of his favorite laps. Rigby wants his forever home where every day can be laps and kisses. No more disruptions (except going to the vet when he has to). We love this boy with all our hearts. He knows what love is. He just needs it forever. Handsome, dapper Rigby enjoys a warm lap and good conversation. He's eager to tell you all about his adventures around the house. Rigby is good with other cats (loves?his sister, Rue!) and would prefer a home without a dog. Humans and other kitties totally rock his world. ? He gets himself into many adventures in his foster home, and being a talker, will happily tell you all about them! Rigby is super sweet and loves a good lap/nap snuggle. The children in Rigby's foster home helped name him after their favorite cartoon character. We love when kids get involved in rescue and fostering. ? If you’d like to know this special boy better, a meet and greet may be the ticket, in a quieter room with the door closed. We can do that! Rigby is so full of character, intelligence, and fun, you just gotta see!! When you do bring me home, make a "safe" room for me while I get used to the smells and sounds of my new home. I'll adjust better this way! This will also give me a "safe" place to go if I get scared.
