Gorgeous Raya showed up in the right place at the right time! Recently when the last staff member was leaving the property for the day, she noticed a beautiful calico cat on the porch to the farmhouse. She was able to entice her with treats and quickly saw how sweet and friendly she is. After offering her some canned food, Raya was quick to jump at a meal and get into a carrier. Turns out that she has a microchip and she was several miles from the listed address. We tried to contact her previous owner without any luck. We don't know if she escaped or was abandoned. But we do know that she is now safe and fed and cared for at MLAR. Raya is a very friendly lady who really enjoys being pet and playing with cat toys. She hopes that she will be adopted by someone who will love and care for her forever. Come meet her and you may decide to bring her home!
