Queso is an extremely fearful kitty. He is in the shy cat room at the refuge and often hides outside in the igloo. We don't know what he has been through since he was a stray, but he needs an extremely patient person and a quiet home to have time to start to trust people.
Queso is one of our FIV+ kitties and while there is no cure for FIV, with proper veterinary care, cats can live normal lives for prolonged periods of time.
