We are running a SPECIAL ADOPTION CHALLENGE!!!! Our goal is to place ALL out long-term and returned pets before Sept 20, 2019!!! We have the best canine co-pilots and kitties in space, waiting for YOU to pick them up on your way to Area 51 :) UPDATE: Pusheen and Beauty Queen are warming up to their temporary foster mom, but they still need a loving furrever home. They are easy going - just like to hang out (and eat! But they are on a diet). Their bloodwork looks good, they are healthy, up to date on shots, s/n, and ready to make a loving home very happy. Pusheen is a 30lb male Hemmingway, who loves to be brushed and cuddled. Beauty Queen is (only) (haha) 18lbs, shes very loving but more on her own terms. PLEASE SHARE their story! After 5 years, these two deserve the best! Two broken-hearted cats don't think they will get even one SHARE... Let's show them how much love we have in this rescue! It never gets any easier. Rescue is a life long commitment and unfortunately even when you screen adopters and follow best practices, hearts are still broken. Today we welcome two bonded cats back in to the rescue. They were rescued from MDAS and adopted together back in 2012. Yes, for five years they thought they were home and loved, but today their little hearts were broken. We will be posting more information and pictures either tonight or tomorrow, but we need your help to start networking NOW! They are a boy and a girl, fully vetted, and one is a Hemmingway!
