Pumpkin

Pumpkin is a sweet, but feisty, 10 year old lady who has come from an unfortunate past who is slowly, but steadily coming to adapt to living in comfort and easy access to food, water, relief, and fun. She loves chicken flavored food, treats, licking the plates and bowls for tastes of human food, catnip toys, and watching the outdoors from the warmth and safety of an indoor cat tree. She also loves being brushed and pampered, and hates carrier journeys to the vet. She will love to cuddle with you on your lap while you work, game, watch TV, or lounge, and will sleep in your arms or right beside you on your bed at night. Her experience with other cats and animals has very likely not been great in the past, but she is slowly learning to get along with two other cats at her current foster home. While it has not been smooth sailing, progress has been made... but it is likely ideal that she be the only cat. Indifferent or respectful dogs may be ok but that hasn't been tested yet, nor any other kind of animal. She is a small and dainty girl with very unique polydactyl paws who loves attention from adults. Children who can be gentle and respectful would likely also get her love and kisses, but she may find loud noises and fast movements stressful or frightening.
