Estimated to be 4 years old (born around April 1st, 2020), Prince is: • A total softie: Don’t be fooled by his regal name! Prince is a mellow and affectionate cat who loves to be pet. • The king of chill: Forget sword fights, Prince prefers a sunny windowsill or a cozy lap to survey his kingdom. • A connoisseur of wet food: This gentle giant enjoys the finer things in life, especially a delicious plate of wet food. • A tiny voice with a big heart: Prince’s quiet meows are as adorable as they are surprising for such a big boy. Special note: Prince has tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). This means he needs a special home environment to keep him healthy and happy. Here’s what you need to know about FeLV: • It’s a virus that weakens a cat’s immune system, making them more susceptible to other illnesses. • It is NOT contagious to humans or other animals besides cats. FeLV+ cats can live long and happy lives with proper care, including regular veterinary checkups, a nutritious diet, and a stress-free environment. Prince’s ideal home: • Calm and quiet, with one or two humans who appreciate his gentle soul and can provide him with the specialized care he needs. • A home where he will be the only cat or with another FeLV+ cat (to prevent transmission of FeLV).
