Prego came to the shelter after allegedly being abandoned by her previous owners. Being left behind has made her unsure of trusting others right away. She would never hurt a fly, but will need someone to prove their love to her. Prego seems to do well with other cats and would tolerate children that are gentle with her.
We believe that Prego ingested something toxic before being brought to the shelter, as she had some seizures her first week here. Prego has now had several months seizure-free, and her bloodwork has all came back normal! We truly believe it was not neurological, but do want her future family to be aware so they can watch out for any seizure activity in the future. This sweet girl is ready for a gentle, loving family to take her in and never let her go.
