My Story

Approx DOB: 5/5/2021 Please read our Core Values prior to applying at www.furryfriendsnetwork.com/adopt/our-expectations. Updated 3/3/2022 Poppy is hoping for some Irish luck to help him find a home by St. Patrick's Day. He and his littermates have sadly grown up in their foster home and in May will turn one year old. Poppy is reserved but friendly. He loves to follow his Foster Mom around like a puppy. He gets along well with other cats, tolerates dogs and is best with older, calmer kids. Poppy loves to play with the laser pointer and cat wand, loves canned food and cat treats. Please consider adding Poppy to your family! Posted 8/6/2021 Poppy and his family (Mom, Paisley, sister Pixie and brothers Percy and Patrick) are having fun in their foster home but definitely are excited to see what comes next for them. They enjoy romping and playing throughout the day and then crashing for some much needed kitty naps. These kittens are adorable and will bring lots of joy to the humans that choose to adopt them. Please consider Poppy and one of his siblings or friends in his foster home! All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Adoption fees are: Baby (Kittens up to 1 year) = $125 Young & Adult (1-7 years) = $100 Seniors (8+ years) = $80 If you are interested in adopting a cat(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / Adopt a Furry Friend / Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact [email protected]. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet cats you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process. Foster Homes are needed in order to help more animals like this one. Please consider opening your heart and home to a homeless animal. Check out our website on how to become a Foster Parent! Visit www.furryfriendsnetwork.com and look under Foster a Furry Friend. Furry Friends Network provides our foster homes with food, litter, crates/carriers as needed and miscellaneous other supplies as well as veterinary care.
