My Story

Poopsie was born in early July 2023 and was transferred to our rescue from an animal control facility. She's BFFs with Fart Jacobs (the black and white kitten in the pics) and they're looking for someone special who can adopt them both. Poopsie Slime Surprise's name was inspired by a dancing unicorn doll with the same name, but unfortunately she also earned it. When Poopsie was only a couple of months old, she was reportedly thrown to the ground by her former owner. She was taken to a humane society by a caring person who was concerned that her hind legs had been broken. Fortunately X-rays revealed that her legs were not broken, however, she sustained damage to her spine. The old injuries give her a bit of a wonky gait, along with fecal and urinary incontinence. She gets around incredibly well, jumping and climbing cat trees just fine, albeit a bit unstable in her hind end. Poopsie needs to have her bladder manually expressed several times a day. She often poops at the same time, but also unconsciously leaves turds behind sometimes as well. If she goes too long between bladder expressions, she will leak some urine out, but she needs to be expressed on a regular basis to prevent urinary tract infections and constipation. Poopsie is an incredibly sweet kitten; she loves snuggling up with her foster mom and emanates a deep, satisfied purr. She has an endearing way of looking into your eyes that makes it worth needing to wipe her butt. When she's in cuddle-mode she gives hugs and likes having her face smooched. Poopsie's best friend, Fart Jacobs, is a black and white kitten with hind-limb paralysis. They spend almost all their time together and can frequently be found grooming each other. Poopsie a bit wary of big dogs but does well if she's given space to feel safe. She loves playing with toys and in boxes. She has a cat tree next with a window seat and she thoroughly enjoys watching birds and squirrels and sniffing the breeze. Cats at Seymour Mutts Rescue come with the following medical care already provided: Spay/neuter Rabies and distemper (FVRCP) vaccines Microchip FeLV/FIV testing Deworming Flea preventative Adoption Fee: We believe in lowering the barriers to adoption; because of this, we do not require a minimum adoption fee. We do, however, rely on financial contributions. Any funds received is at the discretion of the adopter and goes toward the care of animals in our rescue. Send us an email or inquiry if you have any questions about Poopsie Slime Surprise or if you're interested in meeting her! She's being fostered in Madison.
