Hi! My name is Ponyo. I’ve been told by my foster parent that I’m a shy cat at first. It indeed took me a while to get comfortable, but once I figured out I was safe, I showed my true personality. First of all, I am self-sufficient. I am happy to sit around just watching tv with my person or watching my person work. I like to play, but I don’t demand it. My favorite things to play with include a good laser pointer and little mouse toys, but I’m also happy with anything that might be laying on the coffee table. Second, I like to be petted and held. I will happily sit in your lap. If I’m really feeling it, I like to be cradled like a baby. And my meows are very gentle.
I might follow you into the bathroom to watch you brush your teeth, but that’s just because I want to be near you. Overall, I’m just a very sweet cat looking for affection.
