My Story

Approx DOB: September 2023 Pongo (ID#23118) is simply the cutest boy around. He loves to pounce around his foster home, playing with whatever he can get his paws on. That’s generally his main focus – play, play, and play some more. He’ll pause every once in a while to grab a bite to eat or a quick sleep. He’s also very cooperative with our FFN volunteers, who scoop him up to cuddle as often as they can. Pongo has some scarring on his right eye and has had two nasal polyps removed. He was a wonderful patient through those procedures and didn’t skip a beat. He is small for his age, so it’s hard to tell what is size will be as an adult. Pongo must be adopted with his buddy Moxi. They were born in the same colony and even though they are not siblings, they act like it after spending so much time together. They love to roughhouse and will then often curl up together for a nap. All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Adoption fees are: Baby (Kittens up to 1 year) = $125 Young & Adult (1-7 years) = $100 Seniors (8+ years) = $80 Please also read our Core Values prior to applying at www.furryfriendsnetwork.com/adopt/our-expectations. If you are interested in adopting a cat(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / Adopt a Furry Friend / Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact [email protected]. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet cats you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process. Foster Homes are needed in order to help more animals like this one. Please consider opening your heart and home to a homeless animal. Check out our website on how to become a Foster Parent! Visit www.furryfriendsnetwork.com and look under Foster a Furry Friend. Furry Friends Network provides our foster homes with food, litter, crates/carriers as needed and miscellaneous other supplies as well as veterinary care.
