I adopted Pippa from Last Hope in 2013 . She had wandered into someone's garage in Apple Valley and delivered 5 of the most adorable kittens you would ever see. Pippa had had a rough life on the street, missing and eye and less than a year old. She was very nervous and skittish about being inside at first but was no trouble getting adapted. After trust was established she warmed up very quickly and has always liked being around me. She was affectionate and became cuddly, even always sleeping on the bed... And sitting in my lap while we watched sports together. With scratching posts around she never harmed furniture and was very good at staying off the counters.. Almost all of the time.... She had some breathing issues from the beginning which were diagnosed as asthma and treated with steroids effectively. Last summer her thyroid was found to be abnormal and treated with meds for that . She also has been treated on and off for sinusitis. She is also on prescription food . She has been diagnosed and treated with great care at Parview Cat Clinic with Dr Grant and staff and is doing fine. She has been around many people but not to many young children She has been around other cats. I would say that her activity level is low to moderate.
