My Story

Pippa Est. DOB 6/2022 Adoption fee: $200 Pippa aka “pipsqueak” is a social butterfly! She is an outgoing, friendly, playful, affectionate 2 year old cat. Pippa recently came to LapCats after she was found abandoned, pregnant, and in poor condition. She was spayed immediately and has thrived in her foster home! Pippa is a very chatty girl! She loves to talk and loves to be talked to. She is active, likes to explore, and isn’t afraid of much besides the vacuum and reflections in glass (haha). Pippa loves to lay next to you in bed and will oftentimes crawl into your lap. She adores “caves” made out of blankets or towels and will oftentimes burrow herself a spot to sleep at night. She’s affectionate, loving, and all around a wonderful cat! Her favorite toys are those made out of rabbit fur (she’ll carry them in her mouth) and a small green Lego that she likes to bat around! She loves to have toys thrown for her to chase. Pippa will always greet you at the door with meows and will want some pets. She can be unsure of newcomers but stands her ground! She will growl, puff up her tail, and stick close to the people she knows—she’s a bit of a guard dog! That doesn't last long and she’ll be your friend quickly with some reassuring words. Pippa wants her people to be around often—she’s a very social cat who wants frequent attention. Pippa has expressed a desire to be an only cat in her new home—she loves her people and wants to be spoiled! The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org. All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are fully vaccinated. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped. We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag!
