My Story

Phillipe is a super sweet and affectionate young boy who found himself out on the streets. He was obviously someone's pet at one time because he absolutely loves people. Phillipe did not have an easy time out on the streets. When he was rescued he was very thin, had bad flea dermatitis and has tested FIV+. Don't let that stand in your way from adopting this amazing boy. With proper nutrition and vet care Phillipe should be able to live indoor for a full cat life expectancy. Phillipe is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and ready for his forever home This kitty has tested positive for FIV, similar to HIV in people. It can not be transmitted through casual contact, sharing food, water, or a litter box. It can not be transmitted to people or other pet species. It is typically only transmitted to other cats via a deep bite wound. FIV positive cats can live long and healthy lives! They do tend to have more dental issues and absolutely must be kept safely indoors at all times.
