Phantom is a young male with a very quiet and calm temperment. In his foster home are 5 cats, two very large dogs and two humans. He gets along well with all members of the household but especially likes to play with the other cats. He can also easily entertain himself with his own toys. Phantom is always nearby but doesn't insist upon attention. Phantom has beautiful markings as you can see in his photo. We named him Phantom (as in Phantom of the Opera) due to the markings on his face make him appear to be masked.
The adoption fee is on a sliding scale; $40 to $60. You decide the amount that is right for you to give. We have an all volunteer staff so your entire fee goes towards saving AWF's rescue animals. If your donation covers medical costs, then the remainder of your donation will go towards helping save another homeless pet!
No adoptions outside of a 50-mile radius of Cedar Rapids.
Breed Disclosure: Due to the fact that most of our adoptable pets are strays, we can not guarantee their breed. We list the pet’s breed as the one that best matches the physical appearance, temperament, and personality of the animal. The pet may also be listed as a mix when it’s actually a purebred.
