Pete came from a home with 78 othet cats. She did not receive any socialization when she was young so is a very apprehensive young girl. Pete roams free in her foster home and has no problem calling it her own. She ADORES the other cats and is interested in the senior dogs. She has been with the family since Oct 2019 and it has taken this long for her to allow them to pet her and pick her up. Pete is not necessarily going to be a people companion but certainly one for your current felines!
We are a small non-profit organization run on volunteers and donations. Due to this we ask that adoption fees are donation based, with a minimum of $50 to cover spay/neuter, Rabies & Distemper vaccines, dewormer, flea/tick/ear mite medication and any other medical treatment needed. Prior to attempting to visit us please complete an adoption application for approval. Our focus is on outdoor cats that do poorly outdoors so all cats must be adopted as indoor-only companions and are not to be declawed. If you are interested in a barn/garage cat to keep you company and help with pest control, we do have a barn cat program available as well. Thank you!
